BIOGRAPHY
Ollie Hutton is a UK based Singer-Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Creating music with a deep layer of emotion utilising orchestral, ambient, classical and modern styles. As a self-taught musician proficient in both Piano and Guitar, with an exceptional ear for music and creativity. He has performed at some of the south’s most renowned venues such as The Wedgewood Rooms, Victorious festival and Portsmouth's D-day celebrations in 2019 where world leaders and UK Royalty attended. Ollie also makes use of his free time by booking as many of his own gigs as possible, examples being open mics, jam nights, functions, live music events and songwriter showcases.
Ollie is a highly respected musician by his peers despite his young age. Having dedicated his time to honing his craft, he is a welcome addition to bands with his patience and dedication to rehearsals and attention to detail. Ollie draws inspiration from all corners of the musical pallet, drawing from classical, and romantics to trance and drum and bass. Also drawing from Pop, Rock, Metal and Indi.

Music Releases
Ollie released his debut single 'Polaroid' on the 23rd of July 2021. The song consists of an emotive pop-rock power ballad written by Ollie himself.
Ollie recorded the majority of the song and had Connor Griffiths record the drum parts.
The track was produced by Dan Hennessey with Ollie co-producing. They worked together to create a pop song which had elements of synth-pop and ambient scapes that resulted in an experimentally led pop song
Currently, Ollie is working on a new project which is set to be released in mid-October 2022
Genres
Ollie is available to be booked as a session guitarist Rhythm or lead, keys player and backing vocals depending on availability. He works well with all ages and styles of music and is able to learn a two-hour set list and different styles and genres with speed and accuracy from covers to originals.

Songwriting
Whilst working on his own music and undertaking a three-year songwriting degree course at BIMM London, Ollie is also available as a songwriter and producer and can be contacted to work on solo or group projects.
His aim is to write music that blends most genres which in turn creates a style unique that still remains coherent to most pop music heard on the radio today.
for example drawing from genres that enhance Rhythm, Harmony and Melody that still appeals to the pop radio and audiences.
Influences
Ollie’s influences span from Rachmaninoff, and Debussy to The Smiths and Radiohead also with stadium pop-rock sounds from U2, The Killers and Coldplay. Each holding a part of his journey as a musician, artist and songwriter.
Writing his own music and creating his own sound with the layers of historical musicians underpinning his creativity and sound. Recently producing his own music in his home studio that can be heard on Soundcloud with his most recent release ‘Sinking’ and 'Polaroid"
As an artist, his music reflects the world around him with a rich tone to his voice, and moving melodies, that open emotional responses to the lyrics and a style in music that is a blend of classic style overlaid into a modern form.

Katie Rogers - Jazz and Cocktails
Needing a Pianist for a Jazz band, I was recommended to contact Ollie. I had seen his playing beforehand and asked if playing Jazz was something he would be interested in. With about 8 weeks before our first gig, I was not only amazed at how quickly Ollie picked up the chords and arrangements. (He tackles music from a listen and play angle, rather than a theoretical one- which is amazing) but it was refreshing at how dedicated and committed he was to developing his craft as a musician, despite his age. His engagement with the music and the other musicians whether he is jamming, rehearsing or performing is consistently high and Ollie is completely authentic and has a real maturity both as a musician and as a person. I would recommend Ollie for any gig, function and performance and know he has an awesome journey ahead. Ollie, it is truly a privilege whenever we perform together and thank you.
